Around the house, terraced stone walls are filled with native shrubs and perennials that add color and interest throughout the seasons. The vegetable garden in the backyard is surrounded by eight-foot-high fencing to protect the produce from the deer and wildlife. In the rear terrace, the outdoor kitchen, dining, and fire pit areas were intentionally designed and oriented towards the sweeping view of the Rocky Mountains.
