Designscapes Colorado was founded in 1992 and today is nationally recognized as a premiere landscape design, construction, and maintenance firm serving both residential and commercial properties in the Denver and greater Colorado area.
Today, Designscapes Colorado is operating in a state-of-the-art facility in Centennial, designed by Semple Brown Design and constructed by Finlay/Criss. The 14,000 square foot building located on six acres provides us the opportunity to showcase design applications as well as house our equipment and nursery stock.
Four distinct teams now comprise Designscapes Colorado: Residential Landscape Construction, Commercial Landscape Construction, Landscape Maintenance, and Landscape Lighting and Audio. The company employs over 300 salaried and seasonal team members.

Unlike many landscape contractors, Designscapes Colorado owns and operates most of its own equipment. This gives us the expertise and flexibility to build on time and to the highest standards. “We’re a turnkey operation,” says Landscape Architect and construction manager Tom Brownfield. “Most landscape contractors don’t act as the prime contractor, but we can do that. We can do the work ourselves, and we are the point people on many fast-track projects that range from $100,000 to $4,000,000.” Further our use of technology, from GPS and laser-guided equipment to the latest in computer software, ensures that we design and build your project to the high standards you demand.
