Dickens Nature Farm Area

Project: Commercial
Location: Longmont, Co
Deemed as the state's costliest natural disaster, the 2013 Colorado Front Range Flood polluted the St. Vrain river in Boulder county. The client contracted us to clean up and salvage the debris from the flood and utilize it to create an outdoor, multi-age nature play area.

Downed trees and flood debris created log climbers, hillside climbs, and a large fallen tree became a focal play element. Bike racks, gateways, and benches were created using cobble that had been deposted on-site by the flooding.
