Designscapes Colorado Celebrating 25 Years by Giving Back to the Community

On Thursday, June 1st, Designscapes Colorado took action to help serve our community. As a big part of celebrating our 25th anniversary, we partnered with Clayton Early Learning to help plant their 20 Moonbeam Garden Beds.

Clayton uses this garden to help feed the community, and to teach their young students about gardening and the importance of eating healthy. Once the newly planted vegetables start to produce, this garden oasis in a food desert will help community members have access to fresh, healthy, organic produce.

In addition to partnering with Clayton, we were fortunate enough to partner with Welby Gardens Co., who donated all of the plants to fill the garden beds.

By The Numbers

  • 15 Staff Members
  • 20 Garden Beds
  • 70 Volunteer Hours
  • 1,780 Plants Donated

To share with the community all of the great things Clayton Early Learning is doing, we invited Denver Channel 7 out, and we were featured in a story this morning on the 6 a.m. show. Here is a link to the article written about the event.

A huge thanks to all of our wonderful people who participated and helped make this event possible!
