The goal of this project was to create a inviting backyard space that blended indoor-outdoor living and kept maintenance to a minimum. The materials and plants selected were chosen with intention to blend the clients refined taste with their existing home. Hardscape materials such as board formed concrete, IPE Decking, and Corten Aged steel were used to and create a sleek and personal touch. Low-water usage plants such as Yellow Grove Bamboo, Grasses, and Hydrangeas provide seasonal color and variety. A stainless-steel water feature and a concrete retaining wall create "floors" to separate each space while keeping the yard "open-concept".
