Andy Sears joined Designscapes Colorado in 2026 as a Commercial Team Project Manager, bringing more than 27 years of experience in the green industry. Growing up in a family of turf managers, Andy developed an appreciation for landscaping and outdoor spaces at an early age, ultimately building a career focused on creating projects that serve communities for generations. A graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture and Construction Management, Andy is also a Certified Sports Field Builder (CFB). In his role, he oversees commercial projects from planning through completion, helping ensure each project is delivered with quality, efficiency, and attention to detail. Andy is especially passionate about building outdoor environments that bring people together. Whether it's a park, sports field, or community gathering space, he takes pride in creating places that can be enjoyed by people of all ages—from toddlers to grandparents. Outside of work, Andy enjoys attending concerts, backpacking with his hammock, and cheering on his favorite hockey teams.
