Located across from the Denver Broncos practice facility in Centennial, Dove Valley Regional Park has been a hub of activity for over 35 years, catering to sports teams, schools, and local residents. Designscapes Colorado was contracted to help with this $18 million transformation to update the parks irrigation system, install a new playground and shade structures, construct the new bike park and pump track.

The park’s footprint has doubled to more than 90 acres, introducing a wide range of new and upgraded features, including:

  • A 5-acre dirt bike skills park and an asphalt pump track (opening later this summer)
  • Outdoor fitness station with a stair climb overlook
  • A large playground for ages 2–12
  • A sledding hill
  • An off-leash dog park
  • A shade pavilion with picnic shelters
  • Walking trails and a new water-saving irrigation system
  • Restored restroom facilities
  • Upgraded athletic fields
  • New roadway access and a 165-car parking lot

Funding for the project was provided from he City of Centennial and the Arapahoe County Open Space Sales and Use Tax. This revitalization highlights Dove Valley’s commitment to sustainability with native landscaping and water-efficient irrigation while maintaining its legacy as a gathering place for recreation, fitness, and leisure. Whether biking, sledding, playing, or simply relaxing under the shade, Dove Valley Regional Park is now a premier destination for the entire region.
