As written by the ICAA:  “Please join us as landscape architects James Doyle and Kathryn Herman give an illustrated talk about the bold structural forms and clean symmetry of their work featured in a new monograph entitled The Landscape Designs of Doyle Herman Design Associates.  Based in Connecticut, the firm has been recognized with many awards for their landscapes, including three Palladio Awards.  The firm “seeks inspiration form the past and is often guided by aspects of traditional design, but also creates stunning gardens with a more modern aesthetic”.  Utilizing restraint and purpose woven through a living fabric, Kathryn and James have completed cohesive landscape and garden designs across the United States and abroad.  James Doyle serves on the Architectural Review Committee for the Town of
Greenwich, Connecticut, and Kathryn Herman serves on the national Board of Trustees for the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art (ICAA).”
