As Featured on Houzz: Steinhauer speaks on sustainable landscape design



Our CEO and Landscape Architect, Phil Steinhauer, chimed in on Houzz about sustainable landscape design. 

In a sustainable landscape design, one of the tips Steinhauer mentions is that irrigation is an important part. A sustainable landscape doesn't mean you have to eliminate the hopes of having lawn space. "More importantly, it's putting lawn where it is useful for recreation and entertaining", says Steinhauer in 10 Things to Consider for a Sustainable Landscape Design.

It's also about choosing the correct plant for the correct place. Choosing plants that are native to Colorado's climate, soil type and sun exposure cuts down on water and maintenance needs.
