When I was hired in the green industry in the summer of 2010, I never thought it would be an industry where I would pursue a career. At the time, I just needed a summer job. Fresh out of high school, I attended Colorado State University and  graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Horticulture with concentrations in landscape design and business. Since then I have been a maintenance account manager for 7 years. I like working in the high-end residential landscape market because I enjoy the diverse landscapes that I manage. In addition, I like the opportunity to enhance my clients home with unique designs and plant selections. Not only was I drawn to the green industry because like to build/maintain landscapes, but it gives me the opportunity to be outside for work. 

The best part about living in Colorado is all the options that it offers. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, going to sports games (Pro, College, etc.), and trying new breweries.
