Landscape Technician - Maintenance and Construction

• Cut lawns using hand, power and riding mower and trim edges
• Plant flowers, grass, shrubs and bushes
• Apply fertilizer
• Trim shrubs and deadhead flowers
• Rake, mulch and prune the grounds
• Install rock, mulch, cement, lighting, water and lawn furniture
• Works closely with other team members to reach goals in productivity
• Snow Removal paid at higher rate

• Demo and removal
• Install irrigation piping and low voltage wiring
• Traffic Control
• Trenching
• Operate small equipment, pneumatic hammers and tampers, saws, drills, grinders and blowtorches
• Soil preparation
• Plant trees, shrubs and perennials
• Keep property clean through construction
• Works closely with other team members to reach goals in productivity.
• Snow Removal paid at higher rate

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience preferred.

Moderately undesirable working conditions.  (i.e. occasional exposure to significant levels of temperature, air pollution, noise pollution, chemical gases and substances; physical trauma conditions of a minor nature such as cuts, bruises and minor burns).  The work schedule varies depending on the weather.  The position may work weekends (Sat/Sun) or late at night.  The crew should be flexible with availability depending on the needs of the customers.
