Bringing nearly 5 years of dedicated service to Designscapes Colorado, Ron Horn is the Shop & Yard Manager who plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence and efficiency within the company. Ron's journey into the green industry was inspired by his background in excavation and construction, coupled with a lifelong passion for working outdoors and witnessing the transformation of landscapes.

As the Shop & Yard Manager, Ron oversees crucial aspects of fleet and shop operations, focusing on vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs. He collaborates closely with shop personnel to streamline scheduling and ensure timely repairs and maintenance of all vehicles and equipment. Ron's meticulous management extends to overseeing parts and fluid inventory to support uninterrupted operations.

In addition to his responsibilities in the shop, Ron works closely with the Yard Foreman to maintain an organized and efficient yard space, managing product and material storage and delivery logistics. His role also involves spearheading special projects that contribute to the smooth functioning of both the shop and yard operations.

Ron is deeply committed to enhancing Designscapes Colorado's success by continuously improving the quality and reliability of the vehicles and equipment used in landscaping operations. His proactive approach ensures that the team is equipped to overcome any challenges encountered during the creation of breathtaking landscapes.

Outside of work, Ron finds joy in spending quality time with his grandson and indulging in off-roading adventures in his side by side. He values time spent with friends and family, cherishing moments of camaraderie and shared experiences.
