Fish Tales & Cocktails

On August 21, the annual fundraising event, Fish Tales & Cocktails will be held to help women who are dealing with or who have dealt with breast cancer in Colorado.  Fish Tales & Cocktails is hosted by Casting for Recovery which provides beneficial recovery services to Colorado women who have overcome or are dealing with breast cancer. The event is held at The Wildlife Experience, 10035 Peoria Street in Parker Colorado. The event begins at 6:30 and runs until 8:30 p.m. If you sign up online the cost is $40 per person and ticket cost is $50 at the door. You can purchase tickets online at www.castingforrecovery.com. During the event there will be a live and silent auction as well as cocktails and a cash bar. Come out to this wonderful event and help support local Colorado women who have beat and are battling breast cancer.

Fish Tales & Cocktails is hosted by Casting for Recovery which has been supporting Colorado breast cancer victims since 2003.  Since 2003 Casting for Recovery has been able to help over 400 women. Casting for Recovery offers a 2- ½ day retreat for 14 women per retreat at no cost to the participant. Fly Fishing instruction and breast cancer information is provided during these retreats. The retreats provide a recreational activity that benefits the participants both emotionally and physically. The retreat brings together individuals who have all undergone this tough experience in their life and together they can begin to heal and support each other. The retreat experience provides coping and problem- solving skills. The women in attendance gain self- esteem and the opportunity to network with other survivors.  Come out on August 21^st to enjoy a great evening while supporting a great cause.
