Designscapes Colorado is proud to sponsor the first annual Robert & Judi Newman Awards for excellence in classical and traditional design.  The awards have been established in conjunction with the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art Rocky Mountain Chapter and aim to support and advance traditional concepts in design within the Rocky Mountain Region.  It is the first and only awards program to support traditional and classic design in the states of Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and New Mexico.  The awards ceremony will primarily be a fund raiser for the University of Colorado Denver Architecture & Planning Scholarship fund and the ACE Mentor Denver Scholarship fund.

These awards celebrate and honor excellence in the classic traditions of architecture and art.  The Newman Awards are presented to architects, painters, sculptors, artisans, landscape designers, educators, publishers, patrons, and others who reflect the Newman’s commitment to and support of creating a legacy of thoughtful architecture and art rooted in the classical tradition.  It is envisioned that these awards will become the single most important forum to encourage, stimulate, and inspire the traditional art and architecture communities in the Rocky Mountain Region.
