Plant a Moon Garden

With the recent “Super Moon” last weekend the upcoming holiday festivities – why not plant a “Moonlit Garden” in a Pot?

 

If you enjoy spending Summer nights outdoors, then a moon garden consisting of white flowers are just for you! White flowers reflect the light of the moon and “glow” which is perfect for outdoor entertaining!

Some examples of the flowers to use that Bertha will be demonstrating how to make your own Moon Garden: – White Star Jasmine – White Nicotiana – White Geraniums – White Petunias – White Margarite Daisies – Profusion White Zinnias – White Alyssum – White Bacopa – White Snapdragons – White Angelonia – White Mandavilla Vines – White Impatiens – White Scaevola

Don’t forget about texture variations with plants that have white on their leaves or plumes! – Variegated Hostas – Swedish Ivy – Carex ‘Ice Dance’ – Variegated Vinca – ‘Skyrocket’ Fountain Grass – ‘Iceberg’ Roses

    I have a long time running stream that feeds into a pond. It is maintained by a slew gate that is beginning to wear down. I pack holes with straw to try and maintain the flow. I am thinking that it might be in the need of some repair work. Would like to get a consult on what that might cost.
