Phil’s topic for Monday is: Holiday Gifts that Grow on You
Phil is going to go over the easiest bulbs to force (fool into blooming) for the Holidays.
He will cover the techniques of forcing from choosing containers, soil mix, and cold periods. He will focus on how this is the perfect time to think about planning and planting these as gifts and decorations for the Holidays (it’s less than 10 weeks away – and most bulbs take anyware from 9-12 weeks to bloom).
Phil will bring in a container with some bulbs to show the process and then have a couple assembled to show how they can be given as gifts.
